Welcome to Time To Clay

We are so excited to have your child/children join us for summer camp this year. We have so many great projects lined up for our campers this season. Here are some tips and guidelines for a great camp week.

Camp Sessions

Creative Camp Sessions Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9 am- 12

Clay Workshop Sessions Monday and Friday 9am- 12

Each week campers may be attending the 3 day or 5 day sessions.

Early/ Late Pick Up

Drop off time is 9 am.

Pick up time is 12 pm

Doors open at 9 am. We cannot accommodate early and late pick up.

Camp Instructors need this time before and after camp to set up/ clean up each day. This is a very important part of the daily camp process that allows us to offer your children the best camp experience possible.

Snack

Bring a snack and water/drink each day. Campers and camp staff take 1 break between projects each morning. We have a refrigerator if needed.

What to Wear

Wear Clothes that can get messy. Some of our projects can stain clothing (Tie Dye, Acrylic Paints, etc.). We have disposable smocks available to our campers. Flip Flops are great for Tie Dye day.

Cell Phones

If your child is attending camp with a cell phone, we ask that they limit their use unless communicating with parents. We are not responsible for damage or missing cell phones brought to camp.

Camp Project Pick Up

Some items will go home with campers after the session. Pottery, Glass and Clay will be fired in our kilns and ready for pick up the FRIDAY after the camp session. Due to limited space we will hold camp projects for 30 days after the camp session is complete.

Missed Days and Make Up

There is no refund for missed days. Projects cannot be made up during the camp session. Pottery and glass projects can be made up by making a reservation in the studio during regular studio hours. Please note a parent must be present for make up session.

Canvas painting project will be packed as a take home project if requested.

Sorry, no make up offered for clay and tie dye projects missed.

Camper Conduct

It is our goal to offer a positive, fun and creative camp experience for all our campers. We ask that campers are respectful of each other and staff. Inappropriate behavior or language is not acceptable and will be brought to your attention.

Tie Dye Shirt Rinsing

Tie Dye shirts will be sent home this summer for rinsing/washing.

Remove the shirt from the plastic bag

Rinse in the sink until water runs clear. Remove elastics while rinsing.

Wash the shirt in cold water, by itself to prevent coloring other articles of clothing.

Dry as usual.
